MY BACHELORETTE NIGHT

MY BACHELORETTE NIGHT

When it was time to start getting ideas together for a bachelorette weekend I had thought about lots of ideas that sounded fun. But when it really came down to it, I knew I just wanted something simple with all my best girls. Since we had a relatively short engagement (4 months) and most of my bridesmaids lived in different places, I decided instead of trying to plan a trip that would work for everyone’s schedules we would just do something the weekend of the wedding.

After deciding to keep things simple the weekend of the wedding my sisters got to planning! They rented an airbnb that we would all stay at together for the weekend and planned on everyone getting into town on Thursday so we could have a fun night together before wedding festivities really got rolling on Friday. Everyone was getting into town at different times, so we planned on

A couple of my bridesmaids got into town early so they met my sister’s and me at the Airbnb that afternoon and we got to hang out a little extra while we all put up some decorations my sisters had gotten. Then we got ready for dinner and went to meet the rest of the girls.

We went to a restaurant in Monroe (about 30 minutes down the road from Ruston) called Cotton. After dinner we all went back to the airbnb. We made dessert, watched one of my favorite rom coms, and chatted until we couldn’t stay awake. I don’t think we took a single picture that night (these are random engagement pictures lol), but it was the perfect girls night and exactly what I wanted!

The next morning we got up and went to my parents house, where my aunts hosted a bridal brunch for us. It was so fun! We had coffee, mimosas, and the yummiest assortment of brunch foods. All of my aunts, both of my grandmas, and my mom were all there too - it was so sweet to have all of the women that raised me there to kick

(popping the champagne for brunch haha)

After brunch is when things started to take a turn and the rest of the weekend did not go at all as I planned! But more on that in my next post!
