Spring Baby Shower

If you know me, you know I love to plan a party! Dreaming, planning, and then executing all the little details that all come together to create the perfect environment to make memories is just my favorite. I love the process — especially when it’s for someone I love! This past weekend I got to help host a baby shower for one of my sweet friend’s so I thought I would share all the details here! 

She wanted us to incorporate their dog, Goose, into the decorations so one of the other hostesses came up with the theme “A Silly “Goose” is about to be on the loose.” It turned out SO cute!

I designed and created this crest and then we sort of based the rest of the decor off of it.

I used the crest to create all the paper products including the invitations, welcome sign, and some signage for the food & drink and gift tables. And then we also used it for the cake and cookies.

      

Stephanie Roberts made the cake & cupcakes and Little Loves By Kelly did the cookies. They were all AMAZING. Such talented women local to Ruston!

      

For the rest of the food and drinks, we just got everything from Sam’s! We had bottled Coca-Cola (one of the mom-to-be’s favorites!) and then water and sweet tea for drinks. And we found the cutest drink stirrers on Etsy that we put a picture of Goose on — it was the perfect touch!

 

And then for food we made a charcuterie board with different salamis, cheeses, and crackers, we had pickles (another of the mom-to-be’s favorites) and fruit and veggie trays.

   
We also made floral arrangements that were scattered around the room.

And Alli-Grace at Frances & Porter made the most beautiful banner that matched the theme perfectly!



All of the details came together perfectly and it was such a sweet afternoon getting to celebrate and pray over our mom-to-be and baby girl!
